Is paramotor flying safe in Chiang Mai?
Very safe. Every flight is piloted by professionals with over 10 years of experience, including national team athletes. We fly from a certified airfield, all equipment is inspected, and every flight includes accident insurance covering up to ฿100,000, with up to ฿1,000,000 in case of death.
Can beginners with no experience fly?
Absolutely. It's a tandem flight (you fly seated with the pilot), so you don't need any prior experience or training. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the view — the pilot handles everything.
How much does a paramotor flight in Chiang Mai cost?
The Standard package is ฿3,100 per person (15-20 min flight), the Pair package is ฿6,000 for 2 people, and the Sunrise/Sunset package is ฿4,500 per person. All packages include safety gear, free GoPro rental, city pickup, and accident insurance. You only pay a deposit online — the balance is paid in cash at the airfield on your flight day.
What times can I fly, and when are the views best?
We fly daily (weather permitting) — morning slot 06:30-10:00 and evening slot 16:00-18:00, when the air is calmest and the views are best. The morning slot in winter (Nov-Feb) is especially beautiful, with mist covering the valley.
Do I need to book in advance, and can I cancel or reschedule?
We recommend booking 1-3 days in advance, with payment to confirm your slot. You can reschedule by giving us 1-2 days' notice. If the weather isn't suitable, our team will reschedule you for free.
Are there weight or age restrictions?
Generally we can accommodate up to 100 kg. Flyers should be 12 years or older (children need guardian consent). If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, please let our team know in advance.
What happens if the weather is bad or it's raining?
Our team closely monitors the weather forecast. If conditions aren't safe for flying, we'll notify you in advance and reschedule for free — no extra charges.
Do I need to pay in advance, and what payment methods are accepted?
You only pay a deposit online to confirm your booking (฿800 per person for Standard, ฿1,700 for Sunrise/Sunset, ฿1,400 for the Pair package). The balance is paid in cash at the airfield on your flight day — please bring it with you. We accept PromptPay and credit/debit cards via Stripe for the deposit; a 2.9% + ฿11 processing fee applies to that deposit only. If rescheduled due to weather, you can change dates for free.
What areas does the free pickup cover?
Free pickup is available within Chiang Mai city (within about a 15 km radius of the city center). If you're staying outside this area, let our team know in advance so we can arrange something.
How many flights can I do in one day, and how long does it take overall?
Each session takes about 1.5-2 hours total (including travel, pickup, gearing up, and the safety briefing), with the actual flight time being 15-20 minutes. You can book multiple sessions on the same day (discount for the 2nd flight).
